A real case

One smile, start to finish.

One front tooth had darkened and there were gaps between the upper teeth. Dr. Angela planned the new smile and tried the design on a model of the patient's teeth first.

The porcelain veneers were then bonded, giving one even shade and closing the gaps.

What veneers fix

A veneer is a thin shell of porcelain bonded to the front of a tooth. It changes the colour, shape and length of the teeth you show when you smile.

Minimal-preparation laminates need very little natural tooth removed, and they can mask discolouration that whitening can't reach.

Design

We talk through what you want to change and plan the shape and shade.

Prepare

A very thin layer is removed where needed, often under local anaesthetic.

Scan and make

The teeth are scanned and the veneers are made to fit.

Bond

Each veneer is checked, then bonded permanently.

Anything else, ask us. Suitability for any treatment is confirmed at a clinical assessment.

Are veneers reversible?

Usually not, because a little enamel is removed. Minimal-preparation keeps that to a minimum.

Veneers or whitening?

If whitening can get you there, it's simpler. Veneers are for colour whitening can't reach, or changes in shape.
